Back Step Pass vs Half Guard, Guillotine vs Reversal from Half Guard
3 Part Lesson — Marcelo demonstrates a sequence that results in a high finishing rate: [I] If your opponent remains unexposed after a Backstep, slip your leg out in the same manner as when practicing a Technical Stand and immediately establish the pass while he is still surprised. [II] If your opponent reacts to the slip-out by turtling over onto his knees, take the Guillotine Choke. [III] You may not be able to completely free your leg after the Backstep; nevertheless, if your opponent begins to aggressively take the top position while holding onto your leg, connect the transition to the Guillotine.
