4 Part Lesson — Marcelo finds a way around the Seated Butterfly Guard: [I] Utilize Collar & Elbow Control to surprise your opponent with a quick Knee Slide Pass straight into Munegatame (Underhook & Head Control from Side Mount). [II] If your opponent is closing off the hole next to his hip for the Knee Slide, pull his sleeve and step straight through into Knee-On-Belly. [III] If your opponent latches onto your leg before you can establish Knee-On-Belly, raise your leg up and over his torso into the Mount as if throwing with an Uchimata. [IV] If you cannot lift your leg over to the opposite side for the mount because your opponent is too heavy on the Low Single, hit the Back Step and find either the Reverse or Regular Underhook to finish the pass into North/South.
