Mount Escape
1 Part Lesson — Paul lectures on the rudimentary 'Elbow Escape' from underneath Full Mount: [I] In terms of Self-Defense, prevent the opponent from gaining an upright posture to deliver a full-force strike by bridging and/or kneeing the opponent into a posting out on the ground. Use your elbow as a frame to help wedge underneath the opponent's base with your knee and sliding pasted into Half Guard. Quickly, transition from the Half Guard back to Closed Guard before the opponent can impose his weight and stop your progress.
