Breaking Grips vs Closed Guard, Breaking Grips vs Reverse De la Riva Guard
Fabio and Dan help Paul dismantle a dangerous set of Collar-Ties from inside guard: Pummel for inside hand position against your opponent's collar-tie and frame outward and downward as you chase your opponent's hip and cut off their angle. If your opponent is able to reach your far lat and latch on, you may need to work on winning inside position and breaking them back flat along with taking away their hip angle. Don't allow your opponent to control your head from Reverse De la Riva Guard either; failing to remove the control in time can lead to several reaction-based setups for your opponent.
