3 Part Technique - You must be the one to terminate an exchange. If your opponent tries to unclasp himself from your 1LegX, wiggle your hips hard to make him off-balance enough to stop his escape, and then hit him hard with a sweep. Always do one more move after him, keeping the match under your control. If you let him work on your legs to unravel your X-Guard, mess with his balance until he quits and continue with your sweep. Always respond back; this is matter of breaking your opponent's will, and proving you will not yield to his actions. Never let him feel comfortable, or show him he is stronger by letting him get away with something you could have prevented had you just responded back.
