Guillotine from Front Headlock, Guillotine vs Sit Out Recovery, Front Headlock vs Half Guard, Guillotine vs Half Guard
2 Part Technique - The Front Headlock Position is very promising in the way of finishing with a submission; do your best to maintain the position for as long a necessary against your opponent's recovery attempts. If he tries to pull guard, run away from whichever side he chooses to sit-out from and immediately throw your elbow up onto his shoulder as soon as his neck is open during the transition. Landing in Half Guard is still an acceptable position for your Guillotine, as long as you can find a way to connect your grip without an arm inside, just the neck. Use your head on the mat to balance yourself when trying to find the choke.
