3 Part Lesson — Marcelo incrementally advances through his opponent's guard: [I] Capture your opponent's ankle between your knees and pull yourself close to his hips from the Quarter Mount to establish a Half Mount (above opponent's knee-line). Look for an opening to pummel for an Underhook or Reverse Underhook to execute a Knee Slide/Over-Under Pass or the Turning Pass, respectively. [II] If your opponent maintains grips on your sleeves, use your free knee to break his grip and pummel for the Reverse Underhook. [III] If there is no space for an Underhook, hug over the opponent's arm and finish the pass running to North/South.
