2 Part Lesson — Marcelo reiterates his prophylactic approach toward defending leglocks: [I] If your opponent attacks your leg from underneath the Knee-On-Belly Position, try sprawling your leg laterally until his loses his grip around your ankle. If he pulls you across in a Deep Half situation to expose your legs for an attack, immediately bail out of the position and crawl away from his control before he can entangle your feet. [III] If your opponent bumps you from the Mount to capture your legs, use your hands to help thrust yourself away from his control and avoid the danger before it's too late.
