2 Part Technique - You must believe passing the guard is simple and cannot over think what your opponent's offenses are. It can very advantageous to counter the opponent's reaction, instead of retreating. Commonly, an opponent will post his arms to prevent you from establishing Under Hook and Head Control from Side Control. Pummel inside to defeat the first post against your chest and switch your base to break the second post at your hip. If the opponent brings a knee inside to create more space and recover guard, use Knee on Belly to control the position.
