Back Step Pass vs Half Guard, Guillotine vs Half Guard, Underhook and Head vs Half Guard, Guillotine from Butterfly, Guillotine from Mount
2 Part Technique - The guillotine choke from the back step half guard can be a useful diversion to distract the opponent from concentrating on defending against your pass. If the submission doesn't come, release the hold by transfering to Underhook and Head Control and look to free your leg from his half guard. If the choke is near finishing, he will either look to fall back to his shoulders, allowing you to mount and finish, or they will try to come up on top, allowing you to finish the guillotine from your guard. Use these reactions to take the time to deepen your choking arm across his throat while they try to escape the submission.
