3 Part Technique - Rather than trying to finish the Guillotine Choke with the opponent's arm inside the lock, Marcelo prefers to use this Front Headlock Control to maneuver into more advantageous positions from which he can apply the armless variation. If surprised by a takedown, avoid letting your back touch the mat and sit up with the Headlock to sweep him over into mount. If he jumps to Side Control, explosively belly-down for the Sprawl position and attack the Guillotine from the Front Headlock.
