Granby Roll vs Standing Back Bodylock, Mount Escape, Half Guard to Butterfly Guard, Over Under Control Hook Sweep from Butterfly Guard
2 Part Technique — Standing in the Back Bodylock is a very dangerous position to find yourself in, so it is best to know what to do if you happen to get there (perhaps, after missing a throw). Immediately, sag your hips to the mat and gain hand control; this prevents 3 perils: the Seatbelt, the Suplex, and the Knee Reap. Once lowered, drop to a shoulder and perform what is known in wrestling circles as the "Granby Roll", reversing the position and landing on top in Reverse Side Control. If your opponent is too heavy to Granby against, and he advances to the Mount, look to form Half Guard with and Underhook and use it to recover back your Butterfly Guard. Once Seated, keep your Underhook and sweep your opponent with an Over/Under Hook Sweep.
