Marcelo teaches Zach how to use Single-Leg X for MMA: It is important to constantly off-balance your opponent while he is standing inside your 1Leg X-Guard; if you let him stabilize, he may be able to generate enough balance to deliver a devastating blow from his feet. If you realize it isn't enough, quickly switch gears and attack with wrestling, using the momentum you make from rocking to get onto his legs. Oh, and of course, there's always the Heelhook to play with too.
