2 Part Technique - Using your weight is the most important part of defeating an Arm Inside Closed Guard Guillotine. You must stand on your toes and walk forward to create tremendous shoulder pressure to counter your opponent's choking submission. Use your hands to break away the opponent's grips. If the opponent attempts to stretch you, push at his knees and land opposite of your head to pass the guard. Hold his legs and flatten him, so he cannot counter your pass by circling away.
