2 Part Lesson — Marcelo dives over his opponent's Back for a Cradle Choke: [I] If your opponent is strong enough to turtle himself and roll back over onto all-fours to build up his base for an escape or guard recovery, take out your hooks and feed his lapel into your choking hand; next, dive across his back from the side and capture his far leg with your free arm. Grab as close as you can to your own arm while hugging his leg and finish the Collar Cradle Choke. [II] If your opponent prevents you from pulling your hand free after you feed the lapel, cartwheel over to the opposite side when he rolls, landing on your knees, and prepare to prevent a subsequent roll by posting out your feet. Rip your arm free and scoop up his leg for the Cradle and Collar Choke.
