Consistently Winning by Setting Pace
Marcelo talks to his Advanced Class about how to properly strategize against particular opponent throughout a tournament. Setting the pace high at the onset of a match can catch your opponent off guard; however, going too hard for too long can leave you exhausted for the next match. Gaining points puts you in a position to capitalize on your opponent's urgency to expose himself and comeback for the win. Commonly, opponents will disregard this urgency and stall despite a points deficit. Continue to gain more points as a buffer against possible surprise reversals or mistakes and adjust the "depth" of your techniques to account for their careless and conservative approach.
