2 Part Lesson — Marcelo passes the guard from his knees: [I] Trap your opponent's ankles in between your knees by either hopping forward and pinching or feeding his feet inside from standing. Secure Double Underhooks along his sides, tucking your elbows against his hips tightly, and look off to the side. Jump up as high as you can with your legs toward the side opposite of your face and land quickly for the pass. Shift from the hips to the shoulders to establish the top position. [II] If your opponent sits up with a frame, smack his knees out of the way for the Folding Pass. Clear his hooks and circle to his side, where again, you must drive up from the hips to the shoulders to secure the pass.
