Drill 2 of 3 — This time, Paul's opponent circles around the guard and looks to establish Side Control. Reach out and block the leading edge, i.e. the opponent's shoulder, with both hands until you can shrimp to make enough space for your feet to swing inside and replace your frames. Once your feet connect with the opponent's torso, you can use the contact to lift your hips up and set them back in parallel with your opponent's stance, thus resetting the Open-Guard Position.
