2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo carefully allows his opponent to move while still directing them towards danger: Pull your opponent onto his or her side but block behind the triceps of the far/top-side arm; prevent your opponent from pummeling an Underhook or turning up onto a Single Leg. If the neck is exposed while the opponent is laying on his or her side, attack with the Guillotine Choke from Side Control. However, if the neck remains protect, continue tugging the torso until the back is exposed. Maintain control over the back with the Seatbelt and look to either attack with the Crucifix or set your Hooks for points. [05:07] If your opponent pulls away strongly to return back flat on the mat after you force them to Turtle, prepare to dive over and catch the Seatbelt Control. Don't stay flat on your back after the roll, quickly transition to full hooks or come up on top to control the Back position.
