N/S-Choke to Guillotine-Choke from Mount
Marcelo & Jimmy help Bryan cinch up a Guillotine from Mount: If you've encircled your opponent's head with your arm for a possible N/S Choke, oftentimes they will attempt to escape from danger by turning into you; during this transition, there is a moment to shoot your forearm underneath their chin for a Guillotine Choke. The moment your fist clears over to the opposite side of your opponent's face, find a way to connect your hands together with a Seat-Belt Grip aka Ball-n-Socket Grip. Although it is possible to wriggle your hand across their throat, this typically invites your opponent to try and stop your advances by intercepting your arm with hand-fighting. A better option is to surprise your opponent with one clear shot before they have a chance to stop you from moving on to the finalizing steps of the submission, i.e. connecting your arms together for the strangle.
