3 Part Technique - An opponent inside your guard who decides to passively rest with his head low or passes with improper posture leaves you with the opportunity to transition to the omoplata. Frame your hands against his head as you shift your hips to the outside, and bring him face down to the mat by chopping your leg heavily on top of his shoulder. If he assumes Double Under Control against your Butterfly Guard, rely on the Frame Escape to create enough space for you to escape your hips, detract a hook, and swing your leg over his shoulder for the omoplata.
