3 Part Technique - There are two different ways for holding the back with Seatbelt Control. When possible, it is always ideal to keep your opponent laying on the side and shoulder of the arm you're going to choke with -your arm draped over his shoulder. This side limits the number of escape routes your opponent has because ultimately, he must get his head and shoulder flat on the mat to flee from your back control. Your choking arm of the Seatbelt Control provides a buffer between the mat and his shoulder. A good opponent will realize this fact and try to bridge over to lay on the opposite side; fight this by taking your top hook out and posting behind you to bridge back against his bridge. If this isn't enough to stop him from turning you both over, create hook into his kneepit and kick him back over. Meanwhile, don't lose out on the opportunity to shoot across his neck for the finish. Oftentimes your opponent will neglect to protect his neck while trying to maneuver into a position for escaping the back.
