Hand Fighting from Standing, Collar Control from Standing, Double Leg Takedown
Kurt "Batman" Pellegrino shares with Marcelo a Double Leg Takedown set-up off of countering a Russian Tie he calls "The Surfer". He approaches with a Collar Tie-Up and baits his opponent to remove it into 2on1 Control. While he is preoccupied with securing the 2on1, Kurt slips out of the control by spinning 180° into a Double. Despite Marcelo's skeptical demeanor toward the legitimacy of the move, he threatens to hit it on Kurt the next time they work together on their takedowns. Kurt now regrets showing Marcelo this technique.
