2 Part Technique - Hand Fighting to establishing the first control starts your path to sweeping, which snow balls your momentum into victory. Use your hands to block his grips, while flowing inside to find wrist control. Whether the opponent finds your wrist or you give it as a trap, start the 2on1 Control before he has the time to set his control.

This is one of my favorite sweeps, but I have trouble with it whenever my opponent loses the belt. Any advice on what to do without the belt? Grabbing the pants or gi does not seem to yield the same strength as a grip on the belt.
