1 Part Technique - While holding the Seabelt Control, it is important to configure your grip so that your choking hand is hidden from grasp and resting. This way, if your opponent makes the mistake of pulling your non-choking hand, you will be ready to attack his undefended neck. When finishing the Collar Choke, avoid making the common mistake of extending your arms; this will give your opponent a chance to escape his head out through the gap created from the extension. Instead, place your choking forearm flush against the mat and drive his head into the choke with your shoulder.
