2 Part Technique - If during a physical altercation, you find yourself in a bearhug, with your arms trapt down by your sides, turn the tables on your opponent by lowering your base, posting his hips away, flaring your elbows upward, securing underhooks, walking out to the side, crossing your hip in front of his, and planting both feet inside his base. If you follow the sequence correctly, you are in prime position to execute a hip throw, and take the fight to the ground where you can apply a submission. If your opponent is the one who secures double underhooks, rather than the bearhug, take a big step back, place your palm under his chin, and push his head back as you pull in his lower back, stepping directly into the mount position as you fall. If he turns and give up his back, seize the Rear Naked. If he pushes your chest, take his extended arms with an Armbar.
