Bridge Escape vs Kimura, Pull Escape vs Kimura Submission
2 Part Technique - When threatened with a submission, immediately and directly address the danger; e.g. If your opponent latches a figure-four around your arm for a Kimura attempt against Half Guard, quickly reach and form a counter-grip by pummeling through with your free arm. If you need to buy yourself some time to make the defensive grip, catch the inside of your thigh or if that fails, lay your hand flat on the mat. If he doesn't let go, force him to let go by bridging him onto his head and then recover back your arm. If he rolls with the Kimura, continue protecting your arm and pull his lock up and away from the submission, causing him to release, tap, or suffer injury.
