Elbow Push Escape vs Side Control, Seat Belt Control vs Reverse Side Control, Sit Up Escape vs Side Control
2 Part Technique - Force the opponent's arm across your body before he's able to control your head and establish Side Control. Continue escaping by pushing against the back of the opponent's elbow and sit to Butterfly Guard. Anticipate his reaction of holding your legs and hip escape away towards his back, before he connects his hands. If the opponent switches his base against your initial Elbow Push Escape, press against his chest and sit using momentum.
