2 Part Lesson — Marcelo can force an Armbar from Mount even when his opponent is defending beforehand: [I] Clamping together your opponent's Head & Arm is best accomplished by making the parts meet halfway, rather than pushing one all the way to the other; cinch up the Underhook & Head Control, scoot both knee's forward to free your foot over his opposite arm, and fall back with the control for the Armbar. [II] If your opponent has his hand tucked inside between chests, clean up by squeezing the hold until the opponent frees his hand for you. If for some reason your opponent keeps his arm high to block your leg from passing over, use your knee to drag his elbow down before crossing.
