2 Part Lesson — Marcelo uses a Squeegee and Modified Leg Drag to Pass or Take-The-Back: [I] Dive into your opponent's Open Guard with your hands, bringing your knee up and over his leg and knocking away his frames as you settle into Half Guard. Next, get up on the balls of your feet to help drive together his head and arm, all the while keeping low to the mat as if using a Squeegee. Clasp together your hands for Underhook & Head Control to pass his Half Guard with the Over/Under Pass. [II] If your opponent blocks you from forcing inside with his foot, perform a Leg Drag but in the same manner as how Marcelo teaches the Arm Drag. Knock away any frames and Squeegee his head and arm in Reverse Underhook & Head Control; if he turns, take his Back with the Seatbelt.
