Hand Fighting from Butterfly → Breaking Gi Grips from Butterfly → 2on1 Control Hook Sweep from Butterfly → 1Leg X Guard Entry from Single Leg Control
2 Part Lesson — MG explains how to protect your posture with offense in Butterfly: [I] During Hand-Fighting from Butterfly, if your opponent grips your collar, immediately look to break off his grip by pushing away with your feet on his hips, forming a Pistol-Grip on top of his sleeve, palming his knuckles, and jerking your body backwards as you strip the grip. Once broken, swing his hand underneath your Pistol-Grip to avoid letting him re-grab your collar and grab his elbow for the 2on1 Control Hook Sweep from Butterfly Guard. [II] While Hand-Fighting from Butterfly, if your opponent grabs onto your pants, immediately look to break off his grips by chopping at his wrists and fingers with the blades of your own forearms. After clearing his control, form 2on1 and if the opponent decides to yank his arm back, use his momentum to slide under his base and catch him in Single Leg X-Guard for the sweep. Hold onto his sleeve from the 2on1 until you can hook his ankle with your Butterfly hook to pull his leg into the Single Leg Control for the 1LegX Sweep.
