2 Part Lesson — Marcelo avoids the Guard Recovery from Turtle: [I] If you cannot find the Seatbelt because your opponent is hiding the grips in Turtle, form a grip on the back of his neck, grabbing the Horse Collar Grip, and also make a grip on his belt. If your opponent rolls away before you can use the grips to shake him open for the Seatbelt, you must perform a Cartwheel over his back, landing on your knees behind the opponent. When the opponent is left seated upright, throw your chest onto back and fasten the Seatbelt. [II] If your opponent is able to sit and bring his legs close to you before you shake him, divert from the Cartwheel and Knee Slide forward toward Side Control. Here, you can place your knee on his stomach and begin attacking him once more.
