2 Part Lesson — Marcelo works his Arm-Trap series from the Crossed-Arms Seatbelt: [I] While lying on the weakside, use your bottom hand to push your opponent's top arm maximally low and in range for your top hook to bite down for the Arm Trap. Keep your head tight against his bottom shoulder as a pillow to prevent his immediate escape by placing his back on the mat. As he tries to go flat, use your bottom hand to pull back his forehead and expose his neck for the Straight Choke. [II] If instead, your opponent tries to spin into you rather than go flat, keep a hold of his forehead and switch your hips to the opposite side, matching his spin.
