2 Part Lesson — Marcelo attributes his inordinate success with escaping from the back to his training partners' lack of legitimate threats with the Crucifix Armbar: [I] When finishing the Crucifix Armbar against the Turtle Position, don't let your weight slide distally from the opponent's shoulder; drop your hip weight slightly above the elbow to avoid letting the wrist slip free from your Figure-Four. [II] If your opponent prevents you from finishing with the Figure-Four by cradling your leg so tightly that you cannot sprawl free, utilize the 2on1 Seatbelt Control to break his grip and help free your knee.

What is the best solution to recover If your opponent rolls you over before his arm is trapped.
