Hand Fighting from Standing → Seat belt Control from Back
1 Part Lesson — Marcelo shares some secret techniques: [I] Warm-up your hands well before your first match. If you have a partner available, have them break your grips; if you don't, grab your own lapels and work your fingers. If during a match, one of your arms is exhausted, give it some rest by relaxing your grip. This may even mean erroneously holding the "wrong" grip for the Seatbelt Control from Back. Whatever allows you to bide your time and save some energy to proceed toward a finish. If you need to stretch your hand and extend your forearms, do so inconspicuously. Try to get a quick stretch in as you post up off the mat back up to your feet during a break in action. Don't let your opponent know you are weakened.
