Collar Control from Standing → Single Leg Takedown → Pumphandle Gi Grip from Standing
1 Part Lesson — Paul demonstrates an option using the lapel to help take down his opponent: [I] Win an opposite (same-side; right to left, vice versa) collar grip from the standing position and gain control over the other side by grabbing the wrist or sleeve. Use the control to circle your opponent into a Swing Single Leg Attack. Drive forward and Run-The-Pipe to finish. If you encounter difficulty, feed the opponent's lapel through his or her legs into a Pumphandle Grip. Remain latched onto the collar and dump the opponent's shoulder to the ground with an aggressive shake as you circle in the opposite direction of the pipe-finish.
