3 Part Lesson -- Paul demonstrates a Double-Attack from Knee-Mount: Build a frame against your opponent's hip to act as a barrier against guard recovery before popping up and delivering your shin across the stomach. Keep your instep flush against the near-side hip and use your opposite foot to help steer yourself atop your opponent. [05:36] Insert your hand inside your opponent's jacket for a near-side cross-grip; next, slap your free hand on the other side of his or her neck and collect the gi fabric. Dismount and pull your opponent onto his or her side before dropping your weight onto the neck and throttling the choke for the finish. [10:50] If your opponent looks to defend by placing his near-side arm in the way to block your choke, you can swing your leg across the face and fall back with an Armlock (Betsu-Jujigatame). You can also initiate the Cross-Choke (Gyakujujijime) by inserting the second hand first; i.e. make a contralateral cross-grip before popping up to Knee-On-Belly (Ukigatame, Knee-On-Stomach, Knee-On-Chest, Joelho-na-Barriga, et al.)
