Jumping on the Back, Taking the Back from Front Headlock, Rear Naked Choke
2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo talks about Kuzushi for securing the Back: Much like how you would destabilize your opponent's base before jumping onto their back from a Single Leg and Back Body Lock combination, you want to do the same when you arrive behind an opponent from the Front Head Lock Position. Unbalance your opponent's Turtle Guard by tugging them towards you to make them open up for Seatbelt Control and Hooks. [06:12] Sometimes your opponent is waiting for you to take their back before attempting to recover or escape; oftentimes, in doing so they will leave their neck open for attack. Sink your arm across their throat and finish with a Gable Grip for the Straight Choke Finish.
