3 Part Lesson -- Marcelo uses Kuzushi to attack the Back: Don't let someone purposely or accidentally, jump and break your legs when held in a Back Body-Lock; keep your legs away when caught, and don't hang your weight when you have it. Instead, apply a trip and knock your opponent forward onto All-Fours (Turtle, 4-Quarters, Quad-Pod, Quarter-Position, et al.) and then jump onto their back for the Seatbelt and Hooks. [06:32] If your opponent keeps his/her balance when you attempt the trip, yank them backwards to force them to let go of your hands. When your hands are released in the off-balance, jump up onto the back for the Seatbelt with Hooks. [10:43] When you are behind your opponent and grounded, continue to apply pressure and knock your opponent off their base so that you can create a moment to advance your control.
