Foot Wipe vs North South
Henrique demonstrates a drill to help learn how to recover guard from the north south position after you've managed to open up space between your bodies by bridging up and locking your arms out against his weight. Use this opportunity to replace your hands with a stronger support by bringing your hips up off the mat, curling onto your shoulders, and directing your shin against his chest. Use your other leg to lock over his shoulder to help steer yourself out of the north south position, and then use it to push off of his chest back to the butterfly guard.
