2 Part Technique - Use your Seat Belt Control to prevent the opponent from escaping towards your choking arm. If the opponent attempts to escape on the opposite side instead, he usually tries two ways. His actions will either be to swing his leg over, or force his shoulders to the mat using a strong bridge by planting his feet. Hip into the opponent to block him from swinging his leg over and use your foot hook to force him back towards your choking arm, similar to a Hook Sweep. If he manages to connect his back to the mat, control the opponent by his lapel to turn him back into position.
