Arm Control Bridge Escape vs Mount, Breaking the Closed Guard, Circling Pass vs Open Guard, Underhook & Head Control, Side Control to Mount, Mount
Henrique and his partner demonstrate a cyclical drill involving a mount escape, guard pass, and transition from side control to the mount. This sequence can be repeated by your partner after you've practiced the series without having to disengage and reset for his turn. This style of drilling is a great way for you and your partner to explore a wide range of positions uninterrupted, thus optimizing your training time on the mat. Escape the mount position with the Arm Control Bridge Escape, followed by a guard break and the Circling Pass versus Open Guard. Establish the Side Control with Underhook & Head Control, then transitioning into the Mount Position where your partner may now began the same series you just performed. Once your partner has completed the drill, you will arrive back in the Mount on bottom, bringing you full circle and ready to start your next rep.
