1 Part Technique - If your opponent insists on stepping forward into your Butterfly Guard, even after you've retreated by scooting backward on his initial advance, take advantage of his aggressive pressure by snatching the Single Leg Takedown from Butterfly. A basic finish from the standing position for this takedown is "running the Pipe", and consists of several key details to keep in mind: Pinch his leg with your knees, drop your shoulder onto his thigh, keep your forehead inside on his torso, and Gable Grip his leg with the underhooking hand palm down. The rest is footwork; step backward with your outside and drive your weight down on top of his leg into the mat where you removed your foot.
