Henrique and his partner demonstrates a cyclical drill which allows them to practice passing the guard with a strong crossface rather than a dominant underhook, and also tie in escaping the mount position. Starting from bottom in the Mount position, execute the Arm Control Bridge Sweep and land in your partner's Closed Guard with upright posture. Stand to break his guard with sleeve control and force the position into the Half Guard with Crossface Control. Push your knee into mount, switch the direction of your crossface pressure, and free your foot into the Mount. Now, your partner may copy the exact sequence and finish back in your reset position for the next rep.
