Breaking the Closed Guard, Knee Slide vs Open Guard
2 Part Technique - When your opponent grabs for Double Sleeve Control from the Closed Guard, it's usually a good indication that he is planning on playing Spider Guard when you try to open him. Spoil his intentions after he releases his Closed Guard by hiding your biceps and hips with a low sumo stance. Use your elbow to press his leg to the mat as you pummel an underhook on his opposite side for the Knee Slide Pass.
