Taking the Back from Front Headlock, Seatbelt Control from Back, Crucifix from Back, Rear Naked Choke from Crucifix
2 Part Technique - The Front Headlock position is one that arises from several different scenarios, so it is beneficial to learn how to make the most of it. The Seatbelt is one quick transition away, and the Crucifix is a short step thereafter. The beauty of the crucifix is that, in conjunction with 1on1 wrist control, you gain an unopposed hand to dig under his chin for the Rear Naked Choke. Squirm underneath his tucked chin by wedging the thinnest part of your wrist into neck, and winging your elbow up as you drive your arm across his throat to anchor on his shoulder. If you cannot cinch up the traditional figure-four finish for the Rear Naked, simply clean up whatever grip defense he counters with, and apply a Gable Grip for the Straight Choke, crushing his windpipe and arteries.
