2 Part Technique - If caught inside a Guillotine Choke from Closed Guard, immediately address the potential threat of your opponent resting his elbow up onto your shoulder by blindly throwing up an overhook onto his arm. Next, drive your shoulder into his chest, and tiptoe your hips into the air while attacking his grip with your free hand. After analyzing the grip and breaking according to it's orientation, break his guard open from your already standing position. If he captures you with an Arm-In Guillotine from Closed Guard, tiptoe up just like when dealing with the more dangerous version, and free your knees from his guard by pushing it off as if it were a pair of pants. Then, fall onto your safe-side to finish freeing the rest of your legs from his guard, and stabilize the top position with the North South position.
