2 Part Technique - Imagine you have only one chance to execute a decision or technique against an opponent. As you move towards passing the opponent's guard, sweeping, defending and countering his attacks, or finalizing by submission; embrace the thought of perfecting the moment. You have one shot to make this work. Use the principle to finish an Armbar. Control the opponent's pants to prevent his countering bridge and cross your leg against his head to hold him down. Pull with strength against his arm, jolt against his elbow with your leg to assist breaking his grip, and control the opponent's thumb as you apply the submission to prevent his escape. If the opponent pushes your leg over his head as you pull, continue forcing the opponent with your leg against his shoulder, and pull against his arm towards his legs to finish.
