2 Part Technique - Continue your under hook from Side Control and position the opponent's arm on the far side. Use your head as a replacing post while you lift and push the opponent's head up and away to start the triangle. Immediately step over while curling your leg to scoop up the opponent's arm. Landing on your side after stepping over will create the space needed to close the triangle. With the help of your hands, return back to your knees and squeeze to finish the triangle. If the opponent was able to establish an under hook from Side Control instead and bridges strongly, use the Spiral Armbar to counter the situation. Stepping over for the Spiral Armbar is a great solution before the opponent exposes his arm trying to escape.
