3 Part Lesson — Marcelo shows 3 important Grip-Breaks from Standing against a strong and/or tall adversary: [I] If your opponent makes a Collar Grip on your jacket and grabs onto your sleeve, remove his control by applying both hands to strip off his collar grip and palm-striking his other wrist to break his grip on your sleeve. [II] If your opponent makes a high grip behind your neck on the back of the collar, build a frame with your hands and swing into his arm for the break. [III] If the overhead grip has settled in or your opponent is strong, duck underneath his arm and reverse the swing of your frame into the back of his arm.
